I think they are purposely postponing the hearing everything seems to be corrupt here cant expect a genuine judgement from any institution.
Sorry for all friends over here.. least expect anything from KPSC or this ill hearted system.. they are there for themselves only.. they can't know our pains.. we jus have to suffer as a candidates because as a aspirants we are at the receiving ends.. but one advice here no one will hear ur pain unless u shout loud either by social networking or media to make them listen your pain.. what the hell they know the pain and hardwork behind every aspirants for these each exam.. if we settle wit anyone at this stage, later will have no other option to fall prey for their corruption in order to avoid further wasting time in hope of studies.. this way they make us prey for their corrupt intention.. raise your voice before it's too late to make it hear to any one.. good luck my dear fellow unlucky aspirants.. hope some wonder happens overnight to make u cheer.. all the best..

It's now KPSC versus KAS ASPIRANTS who are also writing 1. RFO mains, 2.UGC NET, 3.UGC CSIR NET, 4.FCI 5.IBPS CLERICAL EXAM, 6.KARNATAKA POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD INTERVIEW! ETC ETC...
These exams collide with the dates of KPSC MAINS... isn't there any rule or law in karnataka, India or KPSC to avoid collision of exam dates..
I was part of the KAT proceedings on Friday wat I saw is really weak defence from students lawyer,i also got information tat KPSC wil conduct exams on the same date, the judge has been asked to delay the order so tat student don't get time for appeal in higher court....
More than 7000 people r taking the exams...if some 100 odd have other exams,they can choose wats imp. to them.....cant satisfy everyone....Exams must go on!!
so no hopes of exam getting postpone??cant take help from any of the associations ?
very unfortunate that our country/state dont have good laws to fight against such issue, institutions like KAT etc are more of political puppets, its very clear that since the tenure of the chairman and this govt is going to end next year april/may, they are in a hurry to conduct exams, so that they cam mint money... feel disgusted about the system, though i am not appearing for any other exams i feel sorry for all other exam aspirants, i hope some miracle happens tomorrow and justice be in favour of students...keeping fingers crossed.

Hello Mr KASap.. it's not question of hundred who may have to make choice because of this time schedule collision.. it's only few hundred who are going to make into final recruitment.. remember it.. and who knows those hundred who miss might be in the final sealection.. remember even they have paid fees for these exams and moreover to it there's lot of hardwork coming to each exams.. it's because of kpsc's lacklustreness may hinder the bright deserving candidates to stay away from the kpsc exams because of the approach and history of kpsc exams till date as NET exams are scheduleds at the same time.. mind u tat net appearing candidates are not bottom dwellers.. and as a candidate having paid fees to write a exams, it's his fundamental right to be able to write those all exams as all exams are conducted by single authority and it's GOVERNMENT.. govt of karnataka in RFO EXAMS, pollution board interviews, and kas mains.. govt of India in ugc net, fci csir net.. if govt doesn't provides equal opportunity for everyone to write these exams that too because of their faulty policy where schedules collide if each exams hence denying the choice an aspirant deserves.. hence, it's a complete deprivation of fundamental right for equal opportunity of employment to every citizens.. it's a shame to deny our right to employment on equal ground because there's no equality as the two or three different exams are conducted by the same institution and that's government.. so, it's a injustice to all and each candidates who are eligible to write and can't be able to write now because of their no fault.. whether it's ONE or LACS.. rule for equal opportunity on same ground should be same for everyone.. number of person getting justice falls weak even if one among them fails to get justice.. i expressed my heart.. because these exams means lot for each candidate's as it's for their livelihood and life.. not for anything else..

Kudos to my friend deepak.. hope the lawyer fighting for us had this point in his argument while defending our point in postponing the kas exams or making such thing where everyone can right all the qualified exams..
Friends, whoever among us who have sent objection to the kas mains time table na pls keep the acknowledgement copy of it because they will simply try to run away saying they got objection to time table from none of the candidates... there is big conspiracy from KPSC i guess.. because some of the top scores in the prelims are appearing for NET exams.. as we don trust KPSC, they may quit mains for NET exams sake as they find its worth taking risk of avoiding kas for NET hence the exam will loose those deserving candidates who are worth to be for final recruitment.. as our one of the friend said above something rotten is smelling here with kpsc s urgency to conduct mains and the tenure of the outgoing chairman as said by our friend above and to the news we are coming across where lot of bribe to be given in the interview for which the previous chairman and selection committee is still facing charges..
Why those people fighting in the court aren't using MEDIA attention.. media would surely help to highlight the issue as there's strong point in your objection.. come on friends anyone who has media contact help them get jjustice and be the leader of those deprived aspirants.. please help them..
Well argued my fren. But my point is the whole xam is a farce. Its intentionally kept during other exams to weed out the cream. What we think as equal opportunity is infact a myth. Top vacancies r already sold out. Rest menial post are to be up for bidding after mains, in interview. It so happn to my fren in 2006 exam interview they demanded 'x'lakhs. Poor guy couldn't afford and is now in central govt. Common ppl like us believe every one has equal chance.

Nothing is fair, when there is so much of conspiracy in conducting the exams itself i wonder whats in our way till we get through and interview, god save all of us.

From where will you download hall ticket?? it's sent by post.. better call KPSC helpline.. if they do any nakra then take help of media..

If u r tat desperate to write all the exams u can write and don want to miss any other exam because of KAS mains then do one thing.. i assure there will be something to help u from this.. i promise u efforts will really be fruitful...
Write directly to the constitutional head either by email or by post and fax your HALL TICKET OF ATLEAST ONE EXAM CO-inciding with mains exam along with kas hall ticket and u can also attach time tables of other exam co-inciding with kas mains.. mention that YOU ARE DENIED FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT AS A CITIZEN FOR EQUAL OPPORTUNITY IN EMPLOYMENT.. mention the argument going in KAT and the KPSCs attitude turning blind to the candidates problem by denying the fundamental right to you as a CITIZEN.. as they have announced the time table in hurry even without knowing the dates of other exams conducted by same government which were announced well in advance.. write this to you 1. GOVERNOR, 2.PRESIDENT of India, 3. CHIEF MINISTER, 4.KPSC CHAIRMAN, 5. To a news channel like tv9 and one directly to the PRESS TRUST OF INDIA 6.INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION.. IF THERE'S ANYONE OVER HERE WITH LEADERSHIP ABILITY THEN PLEASE HELP THOSE GUYS BY GOING MEDIA AND YOU WHO HAVE TWO EXAMS TO WRITE AT A SAME TIME.. It was a good experience writing these exams, though the authenticity is questionable,wanted to know who would be correcting our papers, professors or KPSC has a panel of its own?

I heard General studies paper correction starts 15th jan, geography optional paper correction is over and 437 is the highest, sociology paper correction started on 10th jan and marks list to be announced by feb 1st or 2nd week....... Have you people heard of something like this
How does it go? DO they first announce everybody's marks and then put up a list of eligible candidates for interview.
Is your ranking after or before interview and how does the post work; is there a choice given to us or is it completely theirs?
ya its true. 437 is highest in geography. 8 candidates got more than 400 in geo. 447 is higest in zoology.
kannada paper valuvation wil be strict this time. One evaluvator told me that,he got such instruction from KPSC

In a community of KAS in Facebook, somebody has written that RD has not scored and geography has scored very well......I have not heard of anything like that.....can anyone share if you have information

Sharat Chandra Yes... People just spread rumours. Valuation is still on and then the marks will have to be tabulated which will be outsourced(Don't ask me to whom will it be outsource :P). Then KPSC will have to verify the tabulated results and then only they will come out with the final result.
Dheeraj Shetty @ sharat, on one occassion a few of weeks back in LH canteen, i heard some of them speaking abt the prospects of the regional parties in karnataka,only then i realised that guys sitting next to me were valuators, silently followed wat they were talking..one guy was stressing on the facts..like mentioning of the prominent regional parties in kar, jds,kjp,bsr..the seats they have, areas in which they are dominant..points like in the past some regionl parties have been merged with national parties like congress..like siddaramaih's party..etc..how the corruption cases can affect the prospects like the ones against janardhan reddy n denotificatiion scam of yeddy..etc..finally coalition era..combi of national n regioanl party as the option in case fractured verdict etc..,i think one guy who was valuing stats was saying tht candts had not attempted his section properly..so who ever attempted..he was liberal ....polity guys were discussing abt part a of ppr2 gs.., by the time i went lunch break was getting over ,or else would ve gathered more info..

For the benifit of all the First timers this is the Modus Operandi ok KPSC. Mains result in the sense unlike UPSC, KPSC will announce marks of every candidate who appeard for mains.Candidates can know their marks as well as others but no names will be announced only mains register number and their marks. So one can get a fair idea of their chances. Categories will not be announced at this stage.
After roughly 2 weeks of announcing mains marks the eligible candidate lists for interview wiil be announced.

Nope, They wont announce cut-off it is only marks list of all candidates who have taken the mains exam
Oh! So even if the results are out you wouldn't know if hope persists or exits! You have got to wait until they announce an eligibility list after which again you have to an ENCOUNTER in the form of an interview.........and then PROBABLY you MAy see some light! No two ways : Luck is for the bravest!

Saw last year's list but the range of marks in one's category would be unpredictable. Estimation with many variables would be strenuous. Thanks for your inputs anyways.
